    no longer able to participate in gardening activities

Historic Robert Mills Courthouse; I-77 Welcome Center Holiday Decorations: Peggy Little & Harriett Anne Williams,

    Collaborate with the LCGC to decorate the exterior of the historic Lancaster County Courthouse and Welcome Center with
    sprays, wreaths, and garlands of fresh greenery for the holiday season

Yard of the Month: Betsy Folks, Chairman
    Judge, award, and publicize Lancaster County yards and gardens four times a year in cooperation with LCGC

Youth Garden Club Meetings/Poster and Poetry Contests: Carolyn Tolson, Chairman
    Organize after-school garden club programs for North Elementary school first graders; promote and publicize Woodsy Owl
    and Smokey Bear poster contests; introduce the poetry contest to the 6th graders at Indianland elementary school;
    publicize all award winners

Garden Therapy Project: Sheila Robertson & Rita Brewington, Co-Chairman
    Work with residents at the Lancaster Disabilities and Special Needs Center to care for their newly planted spring flowers
    provided by the LGC; take individual photos of the Center's clients to place in their flower pots; provide clients and staff with
    a light lunch after gardening

Butterfly Garden at Buford Elementary: Betsy Folks, Chairman
    Maintain the butterfly garden at Buford Elementary school in fall and spring

Historic Landscape Initiative: Joyce Morin, Chairman
    Continue with the documentation fo the Duke historic grounds in Lancaster and wherever needed in the Piedmont district

    Create small gardens that clients at the Lancaster Disabilities and Special Needs Center and homeowners from Habitat for
    Humanity can help maintain, including maintenance of the Blue Star Memorial
